This is the assembly instructions for the Georgia clothing rack. This rack assembles with just a #3 Phillips screwdriver. You can use a cordless or corded drill for assembly. However you must be careful not to strip the screw heads. It is very important that you use a #3 Phillips screwdriver or bit. The normal standard Phillips is a #2 which will strip the + in the screws. You MUST use a #3 Phillips screwdriver or bit. To begin assembly start by opening the package and laying out everything so you can make sure you have everything needed. You should have the following:
Ok, if you have everything start with the base. Flip it over to install the casters. The bottom has 4 pre drilled holes in each corner for the casters. The casters use the #10 x 1" screws in the bag marked "casters". Install all 4 casters and then flip the base back over. Next get the mid shelf and turn it bottom side up. The bottom of the mid shelf has 4 holes at each end in the middle. Install a base flange onto each set of holes with the screws marked "flanges" and start all the screws but do not tighten them all the way yet. You can start them with a drill/driver but tighten by hand after all are installed. Next install the 10" pipes onto these base flanges, hand tight only. On the other end of the 10" pipes install two more base flanges, again hand tight only.
Next install the mid shelf onto the base shelf aligning the holes in the base flanges. Rotate the base flanges so the holes line up and start installing screws but do not tighten them all the way until you have them all installed. Next tighten all screws on the two shelves.
Next find the hanging bar.
On the 55" Georgia it will be 48" long.
On the 43" Georgia it will be 36" long.
On the 37" Georgia it will be 30" long.
On the 31" Georgia it will be 24" long.
Next find the two Ts and install one on each end with the hanging bar going into the middle hole of each T.
*** HAND TIGHT ONLY ***
If you ordered a custom height at this point you will need to find the two connectors and the two short pipes that are not listed above to install at this step to get your correct height. You would install the connectors on the 48" pipe and the 36" pipe and then the small pipes into the connectors then proceed to the next step. If you did not order a custom height skip this step and proceed to the next step.
Next install a 48" pipe into the bottom of one T and a 36" pipe into the bottom of the other T. Next install a 6" pipe into the top of each T. Next install a base flange onto the top of the 6" pipes and the 48" and 36" pipes.
Next install the pipe assembly onto the base and mid shelf. Start all the scews before tightening them. Again hand tight only. Next install the top shelf onto the pipe assembly and tighten all the screws. You should have a completed Louisiana clothing rack.
