Texas & Oklahoma Clothing Racks

This is the assembly instructions for the Texas and Oklahoma clothing racks. The pipes are the same on both of these racks so instructions are very similar.

If you have an Oklahoma clothing rack start with the base and add the casters. There are 4 pre drilled holes in each corner for the casters. Use the screws in the bag marked "casters" and a #3 Phillips screwdriver. Hand tight only.

If you have an Texas clothing rack start with the base and add the gliders. There are 4 plastic holes in each corner for the gliders. Just screw the gliders all the way in to start with. They can be adjusted later to level the rack if needed

The next step is to assemble the hanging bar. On a 55" long rack the hanging bar is 48" long, on a 43" rack the haning bar is 36" long, on a 31" rack the hanging bar is 24" long. Find the hanging bar and add a T to each end of it with the bar going into the middle hole of the T. Hand tight only.

Lay it on the ground and press down to get both T fittings parallel.

Next find the short pipes. These vary in length depending on how tall your rack is meant to be. They could be anywhere from 8" down to 4" and they go into the T fittings like this.

Next is the vertical bars. If your rack is the standard height you will install the 48" bars into the bottom of the T fittings like this.

If you ordered a rack with a horizontal bar height that is higher than the standard 54" you will need to add the coupler fitting and the short piece on top of the vertical bars like this.

Next install a pair of the base flanges (circle shaped plates) onto the short vertical pipes like this. Leave them just loose enough to turn.

Next install the other base flanges on the bottom of the long vertical bars like this.

__________________________________________________

Next install the pipe structure onto the base with the screws in the bag marked "flanges" and again hand tight only.

Next install the upper shelf onto the top of the rack like this.

Now you should have a completed Texas or Oklahoma clothing rack.
